We wrote a poem together in class - (we were being inundated with flies - so I hung a fly trap in the classroom which quickly filled up over night, we then decided to write this poem). Please enjoy with us.
What a poor little fly!
Wanted to be warm
So he flew into our room
He sat on Adam's head
He crawled on Ahmad's ruler
He jumped everywhere around the room
He watched as Sarah drew a picture
He whispered to Youssef "go sharpen your pencil"
He sat in the corner of the room
He got stuck on Ms Debbie's sugar trap
Poor little fly on the sugar trap!
Now he's in our room forever
No one to tickle his toes
No one to wash his clothes
Poor little fly on the sugar trap!
