Specialist Teachers:
Science Fair 2017
Science Fair is just around the corner. Apart from students' participation in the Science fair projects, our students will have a chance to participate in an in-school presentation by Science Made Fun on either 21 or 22 May 2017.
Science Made Fun will provide a fully mobile, digital planetarium dome with a Science show. The dome is capable of showing 360 degrees pictures and full dome films. All educational shows stimulate the imagination and broaden the viewer’s mind, providing a different learning experience to students as they will become scientists for a day. All movies, programs and experiments are aligned with expectations of the MOE.

Year 4 children should not be bringing mobile phones to school. Please remember to leave them at home - the policy is as follows as laid out in the student handbook.
STUDENT MOBILE PHONES
Students are not to use mobile phones, or any other communicating device, during the school day. If a student has a problem, he or she should contact a teacher, or other school staff member for assistance.
Use of Mobile Phones Consequences:
1st time: Phone taken away and handed back at the end of the day
2nd time: Phone taken away and hand back at the end of the week
3rd time: Phone taken away and parents must collect it from the school Principal
A student will be allowed to use the school telephone only in an emergency. The school secretaries have been charged with accepting urgent messages for students so that our phone lines remain open and regular school/work routines continue without disruption.
