In this Writing and Reading Workshop unit we will be splitting up all the Year 3 classes by levels. This will help us give more attention to the specific needs of each student! All students will learn the same teaching points, but will go at the pace that is more appropriate for their reading level. Please make sure you are reading everyday!
We will focus on:
-Character Analysis
-Beginning, Middle and End
-Character Traits
-Settings of Stories
-Reading comprehension skills
-Spelling patterns (compound words, contractions, Silent e review, -ar words)
-Writing about heroes
-Editing, publishing and presenting our writing
-Kung Fu punctuation review
