The Year 2's celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday on Thursday, March 2nd.
The students were excited to partake in the reading celebration, and the willingness to read was evident in their comments and reflections. It was a successful day with thanks to the students' interest, teachers' input and parents' support. Thank you!

Continue to read every day aloud for at least 20 - 25 minutes. Follow up the reading with "wh" questions to practise comprehension. Students are also expected to identify the title, author and illustrator. There are two sets of books that go home for reading practise - levelled readers and library books. Please take care of the books at home, and remind students to use clean hands when holding the books. Happy reading!
